The Promise, in One Paragraph
Every job Walt’s Insulation completes is backed by a 90-day workmanship promise. If something we installed or repaired doesn’t perform the way it should within 90 days of your service date, call us. We’ll come back, we’ll look at it, and we’ll make it right – no fees, no forms, no runaround. That’s the Done Right Promise, and it means exactly what it says.
What’s Covered
- Our workmanship on your job. If the way we installed, sealed, or repaired something isn’t holding up, that’s on us.
- Parts and materials we supplied and installed. Any product we brought to the job and put in place is covered for the full 90-day window.
- A return visit at no charge. If you call us back inside 90 days, there’s no trip charge and no service fee – just a crew showing up to look.
- A redo when a repair doesn’t hold. If we fixed something and it comes back, we fix it again. That’s not a negotiation; it’s the deal.
- Cleanup from our return visit. We leave the space the same way we left it the first time – clean, and without debris from our work.
- Our diagnosis of the problem on the return visit. We’ll tell you exactly what we see and exactly what we’re going to do about it.
What Isn’t Covered
- Damage from a storm, flood, fire, or accident that happened after our visit. If something outside our work caused a new problem, that’s a separate job – though we’ll still come look and give you an honest assessment.
- Work done by another contractor after we finished. If someone else worked in the same area after us, we can’t stand behind what we didn’t do.
- Parts or materials the customer supplied. We can only guarantee products we sourced, tested, and installed ourselves.
- Normal wear on equipment or systems we didn’t install. If an older system or material adjacent to our work fails on its own, that’s not a workmanship issue.
- Problems you chose not to address when we flagged them. If we pointed something out during the job and you decided to hold off, that concern stays open – but the promise applies only to the work you actually authorized.
- Damage caused by pests, moisture intrusion, or structural issues unrelated to our installation. These are real problems worth fixing, and we’ll tell you what we think – but they fall outside what our workmanship covers.
If you’re not sure whether something is covered, call us anyway. We’d rather come look and tell you it isn’t than have you wonder.
How to Use the Promise
Step 1: Call (866) 751-4428 or book online.
A live person answers every call, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week – no voicemail, no automated system. If you’d rather book online, that works too, and someone will confirm your appointment the same day.
Step 2: Tell us the job and roughly when it was done.
You don’t need a receipt, an invoice number, or any paperwork. We have every job on file. Just describe what was done and give us a general timeframe – we’ll pull it up.
Step 3: We schedule the return visit.
We’ll get you on the calendar quickly. There’s no form to fill out, no claim number to track down, and no fee to initiate the visit. We just set a time that works for you.
Step 4: We make it right.
Our crew comes out, assesses the issue, and corrects the work. If it needs to be redone, we redo it. The Done Right Promise doesn’t have a loophole – if we didn’t do it right the first time, we make it right on our dime.
Timing
The 90-day window starts on your service date. That’s the date the job was completed, and it’s recorded in our system. If something comes up on day 91 or 92, call us anyway – we’re not going to look at the calendar and hang up on you. We’re reasonable people, and if an issue is clearly connected to our work, we’re going to look at it. Each Walt’s Insulation location is independently owned and operated, but every location honors this same promise. The crew down the road from you holds themselves to the same standard we do.
Questions About the Promise
If you’re not sure what’s covered, or you just want to talk through what happened, call (866) 751-4428. Someone picks up every time – day or night. We’d rather answer one honest question now than leave you guessing about whether we’ll stand behind our work. We will.
